MAPin provides guidance throughout the college application process. Once the application is submitted we help facilitate an assessment test, a meeting with an academic counselor, and an orientation depending on the needs of the student.
When students are still deciding what their interests are, MAPin provides assessment questionnaires and answers questions about college and career tracks. We encourage pursuing higher education as it will help students in the future.
MAPin helps students differentiate between a career and a job. We want students to know what their natural strengths by taking personality assessments so that they can meet those talents with a position they are passionate about.
Preparing for a career involves several steps. MAPin can help by working on resumes, cover letters, interview skills, finding internships or other relevant professional experiences and job applications with the student.
We take students step by step in creating a professional resume. We also offer edits and revisions for those who already have a resume or who want a second opinion.
We teach the general outline of a cover letter, and offer more specific assistance and editing once students have a specific job in mind. where
Interviews can be intimidating. We show educate students for what to expect and how to prepare.
